Governing Body
The Governing Body meet twice a term to discuss issues relevant to the management of the Nursery. Governors are elected to serve for 4 years. Parents can contact Governors via the school office in the first instance. Our Governors are a group of people from different backgrounds with a common desire to take an active role in the life of the Centre. They encourage new ideas, support staff training and act as critical friends. A Governing Body is designed to reflect the community in which the school is situated, many of our Governors live near Bushy Leaze and all have strong links with the Centre for one reason or another. If you are interested in becoming a Governor or would like to know more about the role, please ask.

Partnership Board
The Children’s Centre Partnership Board is made up of one third parents, one third members of the community and one third practitioners who work in, or deliver services for, the Children’s Centre. Their role is to support the Children’s Centre Leader in putting together the Service Delivery Plan to meet local needs and support families in the community. They also represent the local community when gathering information or feedback about services. The Board meets four times per year. In additional the Parents’ Forum and the Practitioners’ Forum both meet 4 times per year and they elect members to the Partnership Board. The term of office is three years.
